"Mr. Grinn", called so by his Corsair captors for the way he seems to grin at his victims, before sending them off on their way to Dark Forest Gates, was an alligator captured by the ship Darkkeel from a far off land, to be used as a killing device for their prisoners. He later escapes from it's wrecked hull after it's final battle, and lives on an island known as Gresk, to terrorize a land once again.
